Pin your notes on the map of your world.

Upload a world, town or dungeon map and drop a pin on every place that matters. Each pin opens the note behind it, so the map becomes the campaign’s table of contents. A pin on a private note is yours alone until you share the note.

What you get

A map that knows the story.

Pins that open notes

Link a pin to a note and a tap on the map opens it, with everything the party wrote about the place.

Secret places stay secret

Pin a private note and only you see the pin. Share the note, and the pin appears on the party’s map.

World, town, dungeon

As many maps as you like in a campaign, from the continent down to the second level of the crypt.

Every note knows where it is

A place shows the maps it is pinned on, so the way back to the map is one tap.

Pan, zoom, pinch

Smooth on a laptop and on a phone. Drag a pin to move it, or nudge it with the arrow keys.

An icon for every place

Cities, inns, ruins, caves, ports, quests and danger: 21 icons, so the map reads at a glance.

How it works

From a picture to a map you can read.

  1. Upload the map

A PNG, JPG or WebP of up to 10 MB: made in a fantasy map maker, scanned from paper or taken from an adventure you own.

  2. Drop the pins

Click where a place is and pick its note, or just give the pin a name.

  3. Share it with the party

Players open the map on their phones and tap through to the notes. Pins on your private notes stay yours.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a map I made somewhere else?
Yes. Upload any PNG, JPG or WebP of up to 10 MB: a world map from a fantasy map maker, a scan of a hand-drawn map or a page from an adventure you own.
Do players see every pin?
No. A pin on a private note is only for its author. When you share the note with the party, the pin shows up on their map.
What does it cost?
Maps and pins are free. The map image itself uses the storage of your Ohhi account; text never does.
How is this different from the battle maps?
Maps with pins are pictures of your world, to find your way and your notes. Battle maps are drawn in Runekeeper to fight on, with a grid, tokens, light and fog of war.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Pinch to zoom and tap a pin to open its note, in the browser or the app.
