Party inventory and loot tracker

A shared party inventory that adds up.

Who took the ring? How much gold is left after the bribe? Runekeeper keeps the party’s loot in one shared stash and a pouch for every player, with all five coins, and writes every change into a ledger nobody can quietly edit.

Party stash and pouches

One stash for the party and a pouch for each player that only they can see. Move items and coins between them in two taps.

All five coins, and change

Platinum, gold, electrum, silver and copper, or the currencies of your own world. Pay in gold and get your silver back in change.

A ledger nobody can quietly edit

Every item and coin that comes in or goes out gets a line: who, when and why. Nothing is overwritten; an undo is a line of its own.

Items from the rules

Add a longsword or a potion and pick it from the open D&D rules: rarity, cost, damage and text on its card, beside the party’s own notes.

Sell, use, lose

Drink one potion, sell the spare armour, or write off the rope that fell into the chasm. The proceeds go where you say.

Linked to the story

A session shows what came into the stash that evening, and a recap that names an item links to it.

How it works

From the dragon’s hoard to the harbour master’s bribe.

  1. Add the haul

Type what the party found and where it came from, in any of the campaign’s currencies.

  2. Share it out

Players move what they carry into their own pouch; the rest stays in the stash.

  3. Spend and look back

Pay the innkeeper, sell the loot. The ledger shows where everything went, all the way back.

Frequently asked questions

How do you track party loot in D&D?
Keep one shared list the whole party can see and change, and write down every change. Runekeeper does both: a party stash, a pouch per player, and a ledger of every item and coin.
Can every player change the inventory?
Yes. Everyone in the campaign can add to the party stash and take, use or sell from it. A pouch belongs to its player, and nobody can edit the ledger.
Can I use my own currencies?
Yes. A campaign starts with the five D&D coins; its owner can rename them, add others or remove them in the settings, each with its worth in the main coin.
Does it know D&D items?
Yes. When you add an item it suggests matches from the open D&D rules of 2014 and 2024. Pick one and its card shows the rules beside your notes.
Is the party inventory free?
Yes, for every member of the campaign, with no limit on items, coins or players.
